If they made it, I would buy it. Heck, I'd pay $5 or $10 extra for Sony to include it with the SixAxis.
MGS4 may be ported later, much later, but it will not be released at the same time as the PS3. You can bet on that. Kojima is very loyal to Sony, the first teasers were talking about how great the PS3 and Cell was. No way..
If you want to talk about exclusives, Sony has Lair, Motorstorm, Resistance: FOM, Virtua Fighter 5, Formula One series, Gran Turismo Series, Devil May Cry Series, Kingdom Heart Series, Final Fantasy Series, Warhawk, new iterations of God of War (3 possibly?),...
These are just video games and Sony's trying to get it out there in the public so people can play, I wouldn't read too much into it. Let's put it this way, I wish it were coming to my town, I know I'd be there. :) I hear what you're saying with the Katrina thing though, I just think it's time to move on from that horrible time and maybe playing video games and people enjoying their time at the show will help.

I was actually sceptical when I first saw these ads, but really, they're great. The guys voice fits perfectly, they're VERY well done. Sony has been doing a lot better on their ads lately, now I just need to go home and watch the new Bravia ad.
Lame, so basically these are supposed to be added features that couldn't be included in the retail version of the game. We all know that these are existing downloads for the Xbox 360 version so they could easily be included in the PS3 retail version, but it's obviously all about Bethesda making some extra bucks. Mictrotransactions, gotta love it when features that used to be included in the retail versions of games are suddenly optionable and made available as downloadables. This goes for ...
Of course you would say it's bull. I say it's not. The Xbox 360 powerbrick is external, the PS3's is internal. Both should be included if we're talking about weight and size of each console.
I'm still begging the mods for an "ignore user" button. Mine is reserved for theMART. Can't believe he's still talking and still has bubbles left.
These screens look nice, looks like a rental for me though, at the most. BTW theMART (I know this will be killing you to respond to since you're out of bubbles), look up IGN and Gamespot's new previews of the multiplatform games. Almost all of them are mentioned to look better than their 360 counterparts. But we shall se...
You have to include the Xbox 360 power brick if you're comparing sizes. With that in the equation, the Xbox 360 is much bigger, and much louder.
to 17.2- There are many nations in Europe, thus why Sony had to file actions each of the nations. If Sony won the case against Lik-Sang in England, which it did not (it won a judgment, which is still significant), it would have no effect on Lik-Sang's sales in the other European countries. Sony had to file complaints in each of the countries to keep Lik-Sang from breaking rules in each of those countries. Again, this is the same company that was sued by Sony in 2002 for selling PS2 modchip...
theMART- I hope you notice all the Playstation fans in here respecting what CliffyB said and saying that he's right, and then you come in and contradict what he says and play the fanboy. I knew when you were saying that you thought Resistance looked good that it was an act, but you at least could have kept it up for longer than a week. And when you were giving it credit for a short time, why the sudden change back to old habits? Did a whole bunch of videos come out that showed a drop in qu...
Haha, I know what you mean. It's always exciting getting something new, especially a new piece of cutting edge technology. My wife is definitely not understanding why I'm so excited about the launch day, but dreading it at the same time as I don't want to stand in lines for hours. I'm still hoping to get a pre-order online somehow.
Cool to see what's in the box for the propotype, but wanting to see some direct feed videos of those games that they have in there.
Props to him for being polite to other developers. And he's right, they are two completely different types of games.
Zypher is correct. Keep in mind this is the same company that Sony sued in 2002 for selling PS2 modchips...
Exactly. The whole point to this is, why would they get shut down if they weren't doing anything wrong? Why would courts have ruled against them. They were importing products into countries illegally, end of story.
What is ironic is all of the MS fans claiming that Sony is evil for suing companies and making them go out of business. Guess they don't read the news about Microsoft in the legal arena that much.
theMART- Why do you have so much of yourself invested into Sony failing? Why do you care so much?... I feel sorry for you man, you should enjoy games other than those appearing on Xbox 360. This is a beautiful game, the fact that you're claiming that it's CGI says that you're admitting that it looks better than your beloved game, Gears of War (which DOES look great, for the record). There will be games that look as good as Gears of War and better, you can go ahead and brace yourself for t...
Edit- This post is in response to post 17.
Your post is totally correct. I can't wait for MGS4, Final Fantasy XIII, untitled Naughty Dog game, Eight Days, The Getaway, etc.. Not even to mention Killzone PS3 of which news should start being released now that Killzone PSP has come out and gotten great reviews. All those will be first gen PS3 games according to the 360 fans logic on here as they will all be the first games coming out for their respective studios for the PS3. ...
Sorry Bebedora, my post was directed to theMART. I should have been more clear.
You don't like what they say so you claim that they're being paid by Sony. Brilliant!
2 games out of the launch lineup supporting 1080p is not bad, and I think everyone was expecting 1080p games at launch to be the exception, not the norm. Within 2-3 years that will be reversed, you can put money on it. You think that it'll be harder to get 1080p as time moves on and devs have more time with the hardware and figure out how to run processes more efficiently, and more at the same ...
Not looking that special yet, at least from these scans. I'm sure the final product will look great, however.
